Brunch Adventure 

Classic Brunch

You will be provided with sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, fresh rolls, butter, jam, or honey, a loaf of bread, tea and coffee as well as orange juice.  This can then be prepared and enjoyed in a shady area by our pond. The best part, all the washing up is done for you! 

Stew/Soup over the campfire

You will receive all the ingredients, firewood, recipe and cooking utensils to prepare a delicious Farmer's stew or soup just outside your tent, enough to feed 4-6 people generously. 



Our Bread Oven 

Once during your stay the onsite bread oven will be lit and prepared ready for you to cook the food of your choice. This is most often used as a pizza oven, which cook quickly in the heat of the oven and are a delicious dinner treat which can be personalised with the toppings of your choice.  

The Honesty Shop

Onsite is a small honesty shop that is stocked with essentials for your stay. There is also local ice cream, so children can enjoy the goods from our friendly, local businesses. Please find more information here. 

Fresh Bread from our local Bakery 

Third-generation run local bakery, baking traditional and specialty breads.

Available for you to order during your stay.

Meat Hampers from our local Butcher

Some examples of the products available from our excellent, local butcher. All of our sausages are homegrown pork, raised on Sunninglye and always available to your during your stay. 

Featherdown BBQ Box (for six)- marinated chicken, butcher's own burgers, ribs and sausages. 

Marinated butterflied leg of lamb for 8 people. 

Marinated Sussex rump steak for 8 people.

2 x Sussex sirloin/ribeye/rump steak.

Local Pubs 

The Brecknock Arms 

A lovely, friendly family run pub in Bells Yew Green, on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. They serve classic pub food, real ales and afternoon tea. They welcome families and have a dog friendly beer garden. 

They also serve delicious takeaway fish and chips on a Friday night which we highly recommend! 

Less than a 5 minute drive from Sunninglye.

The Elephants Head

A historic, timbered pub located on the Kent and Sussex border, The Elephants Head serves a classic menu, and offer themed nights,  including Steak Night Wednesdays. 

They also have a selection of walks that start and finish at the pub, so you can celebrate with a well-earned drink!

The Camden Arms 

A rustic-chic style of pub in a local village called Pembury, aiming to achieve a simple process of well executed dishes in a relaxed and comfortable environment. 

They have a lovely garden which is home to their music festival across eight Sundays during July, August and September.

It is also possible to walk to this pub through the countryside from Sunninglye.

The Black Horse 

Also in Pembury, The Black Horse is a traditional country pub with the same owners and team since December 1990. Their menu covers both seafood and traditional pub options, all delicious and served with a kind welcome on the door! 

Their Sunday Lunch carvery and specialty seafood nights are particularly popular.
